Nature Treks LLC & Nature's Niche LLC

Started in 1999 by Dennis "Dino" Tlachac as a rescue for native and exotic wildlife in Central Wisconsin with education of humane animal and wildlife issues as the main focus. In 2001, we decided to branch out to include an outfitting service to let people see the local wildlife first hand. Due, to our growing changes we have decided to divide in 2011 to create Nature Treks LLC in order to continue to offering outdoor education, rentals, quality guided and unguided treks to natural areas, trails and waterways in Portage and the surrounding counties. For those who would like to see the wilder side of Central Wisconsin our main Nature Treks location is in the Iverson Park Nature Center in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, off Hwy 66 "aka Hwy 10" at Hartman Creek State Park on Hartman Lake off Hwy 54 near Waupaca. I hope that our staffs love for the outdoors and familiarity with the local area and native creatures will enhance your stay in our recreational areas.
